My two-word ikigai

Monday, November 18th, 2019 by Adrian Segar

My two-word ikigai: A graphic of a Venn diagram that illustrates how one’s Ikigai is the intersection of four aspects of your life: What the world needs, What you love, What you are good at, and What you can be paid for.

The Japanese have a word ikigai, which roughly translates to “the reason you get out of bed in the morning.” Here’s my two-word ikigai:

Facilitating connection.

Do you know your ikigai?
