AN INVITATION TO MEN
Twenty years ago, responding to the growing Men’s Movement, Southern Vermont men gathered together to form an association For and About Men. Many men’s support groups were started at this time, and continue to meet to this day.
This fall we will be holding a two-day Men’s Gathering for us to come together again. We will use an innovative event design that is driven by your interests and needs—our Gathering will become what you want it to be. We invite you to join us.
When: 2 – 9 p.m. Saturday, October 30 and 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday October 31, 2010.
Where: The Evening Star Grange in Dummerston Center.
Format: Adrian Segar’s Conferences That Work participant-driven design. It is important for the process of the conference that participants are present, if at all possible, throughout the entire event, especially at the beginning. We’ll determine the form of the Gathering during a pot-luck dinner on Saturday night, but you can expect a mixture of small group discussions, experiential sessions, and workshops, etc.
Cost: $40 (includes lunch & refreshments on Sunday).
The Men’s Gathering will be limited to fifty men, 18 years and older, and is staffed entirely by volunteers.
